
Tuvia Korobkin is Senior Counsel at Abramson Labor Group (ALG) and heads ALG’s class action department.
A 2009 graduate of UCLA School of Law, Mr. Korobkin brings a wealth of experience to his role. Before joining ALG, Mr. Korobkin was a Partner with Haines Law Group, a premier class action law firm where Mr. Korobkin gained extensive experience litigating over 100 wage and hour class actions to favorable resolution. Earlier in his career, Mr. Korobkin worked as an associate at two prominent Los Angeles-area employment firms, where he litigated on behalf of employees in a wide array of industries. Mr. Korobkin has dedicated his career to representing workers and has obtained well over $100 million in settlements for California employees.
Mr. Korobkin’s legal research and writing skills have been praised by mediators, by defense counsel, and by judges in open court. A well-respected mediator commented at mediation that Mr. Korobkin’s brief in support of class certification was one of the best briefs the mediator had ever read. At a final approval hearing a judge on LASC’s complex panel commended Mr. Korobkin’s briefing on a novel legal issue as “…very intriguing. And persuasive.”
In each year since 2018, Mr. Korobkin has been selected by Super Lawyers magazine as a “Rising Star,” an honor received by only 2.5% of lawyers in the State of California, in the field of employment litigation.
When he is not advocating on behalf of California workers, Mr. Korobkin is usually spending time with his wife and three young children.
