Sarah Dillon is an Associate Attorney at Abramson Labor Group.
Before law, Sarah spent nine years in human resources. She started in an entry-level role and worked her way up to office administrator, running payroll, unemployment claims, FMLA leave, medical accommodations, hiring, and new hire training, along with multi-state compliance and policy development. She managed a team and was accountable for their performance and development.
She did all of that full time while going to law school, and she graduated cum laude.
Sarah has been on the employer’s side of nearly every issue these cases turn on. She has processed the unemployment claim, written the policy, handled the accommodation request, and been in the room where the decision got made. She knows what the paperwork is supposed to look like, which means she knows when it does not.
