Sarah Davis has worked both sides of employment law. Further, during law school, she worked at a defense firm representing insurance companies. Seeing how the other side evaluates a claim changes how you build one, and it informs the way she approaches every case at Abramson Labor Group.
During law school, she served as an extern for the Honorable Judge Battaglia in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California. She graduated magna cum laude in the top 6 percent of her class, served on Law Review, and received the Kennedy Scholarship, the school’s highest merit award. She earned Academic Excellence Awards in multiple courses, indicating the student with the highest grade in the class. At UC San Diego, she graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in Sociology.
Before joining the firm, Sarah practiced as an applicant-side workers’ compensation attorney, representing injured workers pursuing benefits. In her capacity at Abramson Labor Group, she continues to represent employees in workers’ comp matters throughout Southern California.
Outside her caseload, Sarah volunteers with the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program, providing free legal help to people who could not otherwise afford it.
In her words: “We are all humans first. I try to be as real and non-intimidating as possible so my clients feel like they can actually talk to me.”
