Before joining Abramson Labor Group, Kay Ovcharenko practiced as a corporate attorney for startups and small businesses. That work meant drafting and reviewing the agreements companies use to hire, pay, and part ways with their employees.
Kay now represents workers on the other side of those documents. When a client brings in an offer letter, a severance agreement, or an arbitration clause they were told to sign on their first day, it is familiar territory. Kay has written that language and knows what the company was trying to accomplish with it.
