Ariel Gaknoki is an Associate Attorney at Abramson Labor Group.
Ariel spent the first part of her career on the other side. She was an ERISA associate, then handled executive compensation and benefits, then went in house at Salesforce as Corporate Counsel for executive compensation, corporate governance and securities. That work meant drafting and reviewing the equity grants, severance terms and deferred compensation plans that companies hand to their executives.
She uses that background for employees now. When a dispute turns on how a plan document is worded, or on when equity was supposed to vest, Ariel has usually seen the company’s version of that same document before.
Ariel also writes and edits executive compensation articles for LexisNexis. A Fenwick analysis of the 2017 tax reform bill that she contributed to ran on the Harvard Law School Forum on Corporate Governance. Super Lawyers named her a Northern California Rising Star in 2020.
In her words: “You do not have to carry the burden of this legal challenge alone. I will help you handle the legal complexities of your case, protect your interests, and navigate the system for you, so you can focus on your life, your family, or your business with total peace of mind.”
