Megan Ross is a Senior Associate at Abramson Labor Group, where she represents employees in workplace disputes and wage and hour cases.
Megan has practiced for more than twenty years and has worked both sides of the fence. She represented plaintiffs at three employment and consumer rights firms. On the defense side she defended trucking companies at a national transportation litigation firm and handled class action defense at a business litigation firm.
That defense work is useful training for this job. She has seen how a company decides how hard to fight a wage and hour claim and what it is willing to pay to make one go away. She puts that to work now for the people bringing those claims.
Megan earned her J.D. at Whittier Law School and her undergraduate degree at California State University, Fullerton. She has been licensed in California since 2003, and Super Lawyers named her a Rising Star in 2014. She is a member of the California Employment Lawyers Association, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and the Orange County Bar Association.
Outside of work, Megan competes in artistic roller skating in her age group.
In her words: “Even small cases can change the way employers treat people going forward. Your voice makes a difference!”
