Pilar Calderόn

Associate Attorney

(213) 596-0043

Pilar Calderón is an Associate Attorney at Abramson Labor Group, where she represents employees in workplace disputes and workers’ compensation claims. She practices in Spanish and English.

Pilar started out in public interest work. She provided legal assistance to the Southern Sierra Miwuk Nation, and a Public Interest Law Foundation summer grant funded her work for the Standing Rock Indian Reservation. She was also a Frank C. Newman International Human Rights grant recipient at the University of San Francisco School of Law, where she earned her J.D.

Most of that work was for people who had a real problem and very little leverage, which describes most of the people who walk into an employment firm.

Pilar has been licensed to practice in California since 2024, and she is a member of the California Lawyers Association.

In Pilar’s own words: “The one thing I want every client to know about working with me is that I see the whole person behind the case. Job loss and financial insecurity are hard on anyone, and I bring careful listening, sound legal analysis, and respect to every step of the process.”
