Timaiah Smith represents clients throughout Southern California. Most of the people she works with have never dealt with a lawsuit before, and she spends real time making sure they understand what’s happening in their own case.
Before joining Abramson Labor Group, Timaiah was a civil litigator, handling personal injury and civil rights matters. Civil rights cases usually mean one person going up against an institution with far more money and lawyers behind it. She got used to that dynamic early, so an employer’s insurance carrier pushing back on a claim doesn’t rattle her.
Timaiah is also an active member of the John M. Langston Bar Association, where she serves as Chair of Education and Programming. In that role she builds the training and development programming for one of the oldest bar associations in Los Angeles.
