Zev Abramson is the founding partner of Abramson Labor Group and a passionate advocate for employees whose voices too often go unheard. He earned his J.D. from Loyola Law School, but his commitment to protecting workers began long before he entered the legal profession.
Before law school, Zev worked multiple jobs across a variety of industries, giving him a firsthand view of the challenges employees face in the workplace. He saw what could happen when workers were mistreated, taken advantage of, or simply did not know where to turn for help. Those experiences stayed with him and ultimately shaped the kind of attorney he wanted to become.
That drive carried into his legal training. Zev began at a small labor and employment law firm, where as a law clerk he handled approximately 100 cases in litigation and assisted in all aspects of those cases up to trial, from filing initial complaints, to responding to and requesting discovery, to drafting and opposing motions. He then worked at Robinson Calcagnie & Robinson through and after law school, assisting with complex litigation including the Toyota unintended-acceleration multidistrict litigation and multidistrict litigation against Merck & Co. That experience gave Zev the foundation and confidence to build the firm ALG is today.
In 2015, Zev founded Abramson Labor Group with a clear mission: to stand up for employees, fight for those who have been wronged, and give a powerful voice to people who might otherwise feel powerless against their employers. What began as a deeply personal commitment to protecting workers has grown into a firm dedicated to helping employees across California take a stand, understand their rights, and pursue the justice they deserve.
Zev is a member of the California Employment Lawyers Association (CELA), the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA), and the National Trial Lawyers Association. He is a supporter of and associated with Hatzolah of Los Angeles and Tomchei Shabbos.

Outside of work, Zev is an avid tennis and pickleball player and enjoys snowboarding, having traveled to Switzerland to snowboard the Swiss Alps. He loves to travel and explore new places, assists as a cantor/chazzan in his synagogue, and is very involved in his community.
