Tara Karamians is an Associate Attorney at Abramson Labor Group, where she represents employees in workplace disputes.
Tara began her career at Abramson Labor Group, practicing employment law, representing clients, and sitting first chair in mediations. She then moved into business litigation, where she served as outside general counsel to companies and handled breach of contract cases along with real estate, business law, and corporate governance matters, before returning to the firm where she started.
That stretch on the business side means she has advised the kind of employer her clients are now up against, and she understands how those decisions actually get made.
Tara earned her J.D. at Chapman University’s Dale E. Fowler School of Law along with a certificate in entertainment law focused on negotiations, transactional work, and contracts. She was one of four students per graduating class chosen for an interdisciplinary program that paired law students with film and MBA students.
She is a member of CAALA and the Armenian Bar Association. Outside of work, she paints.
